Casual is the Key
Aah yes! It's finally here ... warm sunshine filtering through the curtains, soft breezes and longer days to enjoy family, friends and home. We've had time over the past few months to do some of the usual "spring chores". Cleaning, organizing and reorganizing, maybe even a furniture shift or two. Now its time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the next season. It's the perfect time to add in that special vase, or a new pillow or two on your sofa to welcome the family loungers.
And bring even more brightness into your space with natural pampas grasses, bleached ferns, whitewashed trays filled with paper mache beads, orbs, and a candle for the finishing touch.
Its warmer, but still with a freshness to the air - relax with a book and a soft cotton throw over your legs.
The key here is casual. Your decor should be effortless and seemingly spontaneous. Add a vase to a table ... then walk away, have a cup of coffee and glance at the table. Is the vase lonely? Does she need a friend? Then add another smaller vase or possibly a candle or book. Nothing too planned or contrived.
